Three things we love about newborn photoshoots: beautiful family portraits,…
Your family helps build your interpersonal skills-especially when there is more than one child. What’s more Family members play a huge role in shaping one’s personality.
I’m so excited to share with you this lovely family of five who got photographed with their little baby Dolly during her newborn session! When Dolly’s mum first contacted me, she asked if we could do family and older sibling’s session. Of course, that sounded like a fabulous idea to me.
So the whole family participated in Dolly’s newborn photos. Dolly’s older siblings were pretty excited to show off their new little sister. They were eager to have their picture taken with her and were so gentle with her throughout the session. With an older brother and sister, she’ll always have a playmate to keep her happy.
We started Dolly’s session at their home and captured some pretty adorable set ups of sleepy Baby Dolly including in her mum’s belly cast.
Then we hopped onto the floor on top of a quilt for more family photos. It was so fun to change things up with more varied newborn photos.
By the end Dolly did wake up allowing for some super sweet awake photos. Just look at those big eyes and that amazing eye contact.
What are your tips for shooting newborn/sibling together? We’d love to hear them – share with us in the comments!
